Below are questions that we are often asked by clients.  If you have any questions that are not answered here, please drop us a line or give us a call, and we will be happy to answer them.


Q.  Do you walk dogs off the lead?

A.  No.  Our insurance does not allow us to walk any dog off the lead.  The only time we are able to exercise them without a lead is on your own private land or at an enclosed dog park.  This is non-negotionable.


Q.  Why should we trust you with our pets and/or home?

A.  We love all the animals that we look after as if they were our own, so you can be sure that they will be safe and happy with us whilst you are away.  As for your home, again we would treat your property if it was ours.  We are also fully insured and have a current DBS check.


Q.  Do I pay before or after my service has happened?

A.  Before.  Payments are due in full on booking.

Q.  What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

A.  Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation up to 14 days prior to service starting, refund minus 25% cancellation fee.

Cancellation from 13 - 7 days prior to service starting, refund minus 50% cancellation fee.  

Cancellation up to 7 days prior to service starting, no refund will be given.  We may have had to turn clients away due to this booking and may be unable to book another client at such short notice.

Changes to dates can be made, but will be liable to an admin charge of  15% of the full total.

Q. What do you do during bad weather?

A.  A little water never hurt anyone, and if it is light rain then walks will continue as normal.  However, if the weather is severe, then obviously it will not be safe to take your dogs out in that.  We will visit them, and spend time playing at your property so they get some exercise.  The same is true with very hot weather.  During the summer months, we will try to walk during the cooler times of the day when it is safer for them to be out.

Q.  Does my dog need to have a tag?

A.  Yes.  By law every dog in the UK is required to have a tag with their owners number on it in case of emergencies.  This is even if they have a microchip.  If you need a tag, we can supply one at a charge of £4 per tag.  This can be added to your invoice.  If your animal does not have a tag when we arrive for a house sit, them you will be invoiced seperately for this service.
